Fire in HDB flat

At 0420hrs, SCDF Control room received several calls from the public informing of a fire at Blk 137 Yishun Ring Rd #03-176. SCDF resources were immediately dispatched to the incident location.

On arrival, the crew found that the fire was well-alight in the affected unit. SCDF firefighters immediately donned breathing apparatus sets and brought the fire under control with 1 x water jet. The fire damage was confined to the contents in the living room.

4 casualties were rescued from the affected unit. They were conveyed to Singapore General Hospital by SCDF ambulances due to smoke inhalation.
