W.e.f. 1 Jul 2024, SCDF will change its sender ID for NS Mobilisation matters from “91449746” to “80709995”. This follows the gov.sg SMS Sender ID announcement on 13 Jun 2024 and aims to help recipients recognise and authenticate SMSes from SCDF.

"OPERATION LION HEART" (PADANG CITY, SUMATRA EARTHQUAKE) SCDF Operation Lionheart deployment to Padang City, Sumatra Earthquake - Situation Update 6

39 members of the 42-member SCDF Lionheart Contingent has returned to Singapore today, 8 October 09 (Thursday) at 2.45pm in 2 RSAF C-130 aircrafts. 2. Photographs of Comr Peter Lim, Commissioner SCDF, welcoming the contingent at Paya Lebar Airbase are attached.3. A 3-man SCDF medical team, comprising a Doctor and two Paramedics, were deployed to assist the SAF Medical Team at its medical facility in Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pariaman (Pariaman Hospital) since yesterday, 7 October 09. They will return to Singapore together with the SAF Medical Team upon the completion of their medical mission.
