At 1633hrs, SCDF Operations Centre received a call informing of a road traffic accident involving a trailer at the junction of Jalan Bukit Merah and Lower Delta Road . SCDF dispatched 1 ambulance and 1 Red Rhino.

On arrival, the crew saw the trailer overturned on its side. The driver was not trapped and was found outside his vehicle. He had complained of pain on his chest and knee. He was subsequently conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.
