SCDF responds to 4 road traffic accidents between 7am to 12 noon today
SCDF responded to 4 road traffic accidents between 7am to 12 noon today.
Below are the details of the incidents.
Incident 1:
At 0739hrs, SCDF was alerted to a road traffic accident involving a lorry that overturned along PIE towards Changi near the Thomson exit. SCDF dispatched 5 ambulances and conveyed 15 casualties to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Another 2 casualties were pronounced dead at scene.
Incident 2:
At 0945hrs, SCDF was alerted to another road traffic accident involving the collision between 2 lorries along BKE towards Changi near the Mandai Road exit. The driver and passenger were trapped in the cabin of one of the lorries. SCDF rescued the two casualties using hydraulic tools and conveyed them to NUH. They were both conscious.
Incident 3:
Separately, another road traffic accident involving a lorry and a car occurred at the opposite direction along BKE towards SLE near the Mandai Road exit. An ambulance was dispatched and conveyed a Male Malay about 44 years old and a female Malay about 9 years old to NUH. They suffered bruises and abrasions.
Incident 4:
At about 1036hrs, another road traffic accident involving 2 cars occurred near the centre divider of BKE towards SLE near the Mandai Road exit. An ambulance was dispatched and a male Chinese about 30 years old was conveyed to NUH for neck pains.
