FSM Course Details (Full-Time)

 

The next batch of FSM (Full-time) / FSM Revalidation Course will be opened for registration on 10 July 2024 at 1000hrs and closes when the class size is full.

Starting from the 103rd FSM Course, CDA no longer accepts SkillFuture Credit as a payment method due to technical issues that result in erroneous calculations of credits deductible.

FSM Revalidation Course Requirements:

The FSM Revalidation course is for individuals:

a) holding a FSM certification but have not accrued the required CPD points in the past CPD cycle

b) holding a FSM certification but have not registered in eFSM system.

* Please note that the individual can opt to attend the full FSM course instead of the revalidation course. Different course fees apply for the respective courses. For further enquiries or clarifications, kindly email SCDF_CDA@scdf.gov.sg or call 67945502.

 

Below are some pointers for revalidation or full course:

Example 1 - Shortfall of 10 CPD points in the last CPD cycle (30 CPD points required) -> Revalidation requirement (a)

Example 2 - The individual had graduated from FSM course 7 years ago, registered in the eFSM system but suspended for 4 years -> Revalidation requirement (a)

Example 3 - Failed revalidation course -> Full FSM course

Example 4 - Misplaced FSM cert and unable to prove that he / she was previously certified -> Full FSM course

Example 5 - Not confident of passing FSM course, or wish to update fire safety knowledge -> Full FSM course

 

Payment

Payment is done online at the point of registration. Payment methods are:

  1. Credit Card
  2. Internet Banking
  3. GIRO (If you have an existing GIRO with SCDF)

Note: Company sponsorship will not be applicable for applicants. Upon successful registration and payment, applicants may email SCDF_CDA@scdf.gov.sg for a copy of the receipt to facility their companies' claiming process.

Please note that you will have to declare your eligibility during registration. Any false declaration will result in rejection from the course with no refund.
