Stakeholders’ Dialogue on the Draft of New Singapore Standard on Code of Practice for Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries
The Stakeholders’ Dialogue Session on the draft of the Singapore Standard (SS) on Code of Practice for Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries is organised by the drafting committee (Working Group on Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities), which is under the purview of the Technical Committee (TC) for Petroleum Processes and Products, one of the nine TCs under the Chemical Standards Committee (CSC). Key stakeholders were engaged in the committees involved in the development of this standard.
The draft of the new Singapore Standard on Code of Practice for Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries is currently out for public comment from 06 Apr 2018 to 07 Jun 2018.

Objective of Dialogue Session:
This Dialogue Session is held during public comment period to gather technical feedback from the relevant public and it also provides the opportunity for clarifications to be sought on the draft standard through this face-to-face dialogue session.
The new Singapore Standard on Code of Practice for Fire Safety for Open Plant Processing Facilities in Oil, Chemical and Process Industries is targeted for completion in Q3 2018.
