INSARAG USAR Capability Exchange (IUSAR CAPEX)

The workshop is developed based on INSARAG guidelines with different focal themes (e.g. height rescue, cutting and breaching) each year.

The workshop aims to:

i. Share updates and developments on the INSARAG guidelines;

ii. Share new and best practices on USAR-related tactics and technologies; and

iii. Generate greater awareness and foster interest in INSARAG classification and technologies.

Participants will be engaged through updates on the latest INSARAG guidelines, methodologies, and developments. They will also share best practices on USAR skillsets from their organisations. Fieldwork demonstrations and a deployment exercise will be conducted to facilitate a meaningful and thorough learning experience.
