SCDF was alerted at 1225hrs to the fire. SCDF arrived within 5 mins. Forced entry into a unit on the 7th floor was carried out by SCDF. The fire in the unit was raging, and involved the contents of the living room and kitchen.

Unit was also heavily smoked logged. SCDF fire fighters rescued 3 children from the toilet in the master bedroom and sent them to KK Women"s & Children"s Hospital in SCDF ambulance. Fire was extinguished within 15 min upon SCDF"s arrival using 1 water jet. About 50 residents from the surrounding units self-evacuated before the arrival of SCDF. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
