SCDF was alerted to a construction site incident at Dover Road this morning at 0950 hrs. 1 Fire Engine, 1 Rhino, 1 Special Rescue Tender (DART), 1 Ambulance and 1 Support Appliance were immediately deployed to the incident site.

Upon arrival, SCDF firefighters found a male adult lying on the floor of a tower crane platform located about 45m above ground. He had no pulse and breathing. Firefighters immediately performed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the man and prepared to lower him to the ground using a rescue stretcher via a rope and pulley system.

Once at the ground, the man was immediately attended to by the paramedic. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no open wound found on the man.The case has been handed over to the Police for further investigation.
