SCDF will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at White Sands, a mall managed by AsiaMalls Management Pte Ltd, at 1 Pasir Ris Central Street 3 S(518457), on Wednesday, 25 July 2012 . The exercise will begin at 0200hrs and will end at about 0400hrs.

Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures.In total, about 160 personnel and about 22 SCDF emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in this exercise.

All SCDF vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will also be placed at prominent locations to keep membersof public informed of the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed.
