SCDF will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at the ITE College Central, 2 Ang Mo Kio Drive, Singapore 567720 on Thursday, 15 August 2013. The exercise will begin at 11.30pm and end at about 1.00am on Friday, 16 August 2013.

Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. About 100 SCDF personnel and 15 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed. All operational vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will also be placed in the vicinity to alert members of the public to the exercise.

To facilitate the movement and deployment of our emergency vehicles, up to 2 lanes will be closed along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 between the junction of Ang Mo Kio Drive and the slip road to CTE. The lane closures will be in effect from 11.30pm till the end of the exercise.
