SCDF Operational Exercise at The Float @ Marina Bay

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a deployment exercise with the support of related agencies and stakeholders at The Float @ Marina Bay, 20 Raffles Avenue on Wednesday, 4 August 2021. The exercise will begin at about 12:30 am and end at about 3:00 am.

Such exercises are part of the SCDF’s on-going efforts to validate and update its operational plans and procedures with the related agencies. In total, about 200 SCDF officers and 25 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.

To facilitate the movement and deployment of the emergency vehicles, three lanes along Raffles Avenue near The Float @ Marina Bay will be closed to traffic. The lane closure will be in effect until the end of the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed. Signage will be placed in the immediate vicinity to alert the public of the exercise.
